Do you have a pickle or jam fiend on your hands? In this workshop, we will explore how to capture the harvest through pickles and preserves. Lessons will dive into our local food systems, harvest protocol, reducing waste and the science behind preserves. Parent participation is welcome but not required. Participants will get to take home some preserves and a wealth of knowledge at the end of the sessions. Intended for kids aged 7 - 14. Maximum registration: 10.
