Pablo Cardenas Presents “A Tribute to Buena Vista Social Club”

“A Tribute to Buena Vista Social Club is back to “The Coda”! After a historical evening a few month ago for a New Year’s Eve celebration, we’re back for those who couldn’t get a spot and those that left wanting to live this experience again with Pablo Cardenas and The Westcoast Cuban Orchestra. This will be another memorable night of music with world class Cuban pianist Pablo Cardenas and The Westcoast Cuban Orchestra performing a repertoire that even novices to traditional cuban music will be familiar with, timeless and evocative songs that became all time classics that will never die. The incredible Christina Morrison will be hosting a dance class before the band starts, and performance a choreography with her dance group “Salsa Caliente” at break time. Buena Vista Social Club got established in 1996. The project was organized by World Circuit executive Nick Gold, produced by American guitarist Ry Cooder and directed by Juan de Marcos González.
