“The reality of disability and joy means accepting that not every day is good but every day has openings for small pockets of joy” – Alice Wong Join us for ‘Pockets of Joy’ A poetry event celebrating poets with disabilities and disabled poets at Caffe Fantastico from 7:00 pm – 8:50 pm, doors at 6:30pm. Event by donation. Open mic from 7:00 pm – 7:30 pm for disabled folks. Open mic participants have 3 – 5 minutes depending how many people sign up. Featured readers are from 7:40 pm – 8:50 pm. They are Judy Woo, Ishtar, Catherine St. Denis, Kath Healing, and Terri Gower.
